You have been commissioned to design a pilot issue of a scene from your new movie. The company you are working for is part of a larger group that already has several movie titles and will need convincing that there is an opportunity to launch a new title, so your pilot must be distinctive but meet the viewers needs and expectations.
Task 1
Open up a Word document.
Write a brief story or plot to explain the scene that you are going to animate.
List the characters (Figures) that will be included - identify which ones you will need to create from scratch.
Identify the backgrounds that you will need - explain whether these will be from the internet or if you will create them yourself.
Task 2
Open Pivot.
Begin to create your animation.
Task 3
Ask your neighbour to provide feedback on your animation.
Does your animation meet your original story / plot?
What 3 things do you like about the animation?
What 2 improvements could you make to your animation?
Task 4
Taking on board the feedback, re-assess your animation and make any suitable improvements.
Print screen example shots and add this to a number of PowerPoint slides.
In the notes section, add a descriptive dialogue to your storyboard
